Frequently Asked Questions
How often should a UPS be maintained?
Most sites schedule preventive maintenance at least twice a year, and critical facilities often go quarterly. We recommend a schedule based on your UPS size, load, and battery age.
How long do UPS batteries last?
Sealed lead-acid (VRLA) UPS batteries typically last about 3 to 5 years in service, and less in hot rooms. Regular battery testing shows when replacement is due before a battery fails during an outage.
Do you supply and install the UPS as well as maintain it?
Yes. We handle site survey and sizing, supply, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance, so one team is responsible from start to finish.
Will maintenance interrupt our power?
We plan maintenance windows with you so critical loads stay protected, for example by using bypass or redundant units where your system allows it.
